009 웃 VIDEO
![]() | [The feed clicks on to show a shot of the ceiling in David's cabin before it's picked up, moved and adjusted until you get a good view of a red headed woman, who looks pretty worn out. She's better than she was yesterday, at least, given she spent most of it sleeping off an emergency C-Section, but it's pretty apparent that she's been through some stuff and probably needs a shower. She swallows and lets out a slow breath before saying anything.] My name is Dr. Elizabeth Shaw, and I've been told that I'm here for David. [Which was just. Fucking weird, and there are a lot of things she wants to ask about the ship and the Admiral, but the first one she ends up blurting out is a fairly simple one.] Can anyone tell me what he's doing here? I know what this place is supposed to be for, [Because she's looked around the network a little.] but I don't understand why he'd be brought here. [Because even if David was a very human robot, and was pretty fucking creepy, she doesn't know the full extent of how creepy he is yet, and so she's not sure why he'd be here as an inmate, and definitely not why he'd choose to be a warden. She pauses again, lifting a shaking hand to rub at her forehead slightly.] And if someone could direct me to whatever infirmary you have on board, I would appreciate it. |

Unfortunately, I am unauthorized to administer or prescribe medication of anytime. If you are truly in need, however, I see no reason why those who are will not give you some.
What is your current status? [He wants to know what to expect when he arrives. If he should take a particular care when moving her.]
video
The wound's been stapled shut, and I'm not bleeding, it's just painful.
video
[One more flight to go. From what little he knew of first aid procedures, head trauma was the most immediate cause for concern. It required...procedures. A brace. Retaining of consciousness. Additional monitoring.]
video
No. Just the abdominal injury. [Which was less an injury and more the remnants of a surgical procedure, but. Details.]
video > action
[He arrived shortly after, and Shaw will find him to be...slightly less intimidating in person, now that she knows what he looks like. He is of average height, compared to a Human Male, standing less than six feet tall with a moderately athletic build. The armor, with its blacks and dark reds, is nothing too overbearing either. Perhaps the helmet looked a little strange, but no more so than some of Earth history's most unique fashion choices.]
[He scours the hall until he finds the room, coming to a land directly in front of the door. Announcing his presence with a knock.]
action
The door slides open when she presses the release, and he does look a little less strange in person. She needs to support herself on the doorframe and manages a sort of pained, embarrassed smile.]
I'm sorry, I don't believe I caught your name.
Re: action
[Who is definitely not happy that she had to get up in order to let him in. He had assumed the doors worked as they did on the Interceptor, activated by a vocal command if not the presence of a new individual.]
[He turns to one side, using the power of his ring to make a flatbed. It is not as visually solid as something Green Energy could produce. The flames of Rage continue to obscure the object itself, though they would neither harm her nor hinder the process of getting her to safety.]
Get on. If you cannot on your own, I will pick you up and place you myself.
[He intends to words to be calming, but habits are hard to break, and they come out slightly harsher than intended.]
action
How are you doing that? [She doesn't sound afraid so much as shocked, because again. Totally out of her realm of experience.]
action
The energy from my ring is capable of creating artificial constructs. I can assure you, it is perfectly safe.
action
She carefully reaches out to touch it, almost hesitating, definitely gentle, but once she realizes that is definitely is solid and isn't just a trick, she carefully pulls herself onto it, gasping quietly as the motion aggravated the injury.]
action
[There is a moment of concern when she gasps, but Razer has seen far worse injuries than hers, and she was on the gurney now. Cautiously, he summons the power of his Ring to encase him in a protective shield, taking to hovering a few inches off the ground rather than walk. It would be faster that way, and less likely to jar her.]
[She will find the journey surprisingly smooth. Borderline comfortable, were the surface she rested not so rigid.]
action
But lying down means she doesn't have to support her injured abdominal muscles anymore, and that more than makes up for the rigid surface.]
Thank you.
action
It would not bode well for you to perish on your first day aboard the ship. [Because that was a comforting thought right there.] Particularly if, as is the case for many of us, your stay is meant to be a short one.
action
Razer's a decent enough distraction, really, because there are suddenly a lot of things she'd like to ask him, and hopefully it'll make her stop thinking about what happened back on the planet.] Where are you from?
action
[He does not mind sharing. Keeping her mind off the pain was his secondary priority, after getting her to the infirmary.]
action
I've never spoken to an alien before, either.
[She at least manages to sound somewhere between amused, self depreciating and totally overwhelmed there though.]
action
[He is not offended by the insult; merely making an educational observation.]
action
Of course, I'm sorry. But you've met other humans before?
action
[He remains silent on his opinions. No use offering compliments on the remote chance Hal Jordan might be able to hear them.]
action
[There's a part of her that almost wishes she could stay, and ask everyone about where they come from, even though it likely won't answer the questions she had before setting out for LV-223, but she knows that's not really possible.]
action
Is this your first time leaving your world?
[They were almost to the medical area now. Only a few more minutes, and he would have her--still conscious and apparently stable--in the hands of an expert.]
action
[Yet. Yet, because they were going to talk to the last living Engineer, but she'd been pulled here, first. Hopefully she'd still get a chance to get some answers when she went back.]
action
[He would normally not ask, but his attempts at keeping the conversation going were running thin.]
action
He's a robot. I have no idea what he's doing here.
