•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: I think it's a bit of a stretch for someone to fourth wall Prometheus specifically, but if/when David starts dropping references to stuff that's pretty explicitly Alien/Aliens related, I'm cool with people saying they recognize it from the movie. I have no idea when this is going to happen outside of him mentioning Weyland Corp (and that's still not Weyland-Yutani), considering David never interacts with the iconic "Alien", but you never know.
•BACKTAGGING: Definitely! I also tend to get a little distracted/misplace threads, so if there's ever something I've stopped tagging, just nudge me if you want to continue.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: I'm pretty uncomfortable when it comes to vampires drinking people's blood, and I'm generally uncomfortable being brought into plots involving sexual assault. If there's a specific reason why you need me/my character in it, just let me know well in advance so we can discuss it before I decide to get involved.

IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: After being decapitated by the last surviving Engineer.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: David is about 6' even, lean, and looks very human, despite being an android. He has blonde hair, grey-blue eyes and a generally pale complexion, which is usually highlighted by his wardrobe, which generally consists of olive green, light blue, gray and white. While his movements look natural enough at a glance, he does move relatively stiffly, and has excellent posture and poise. He is immaculately groomed and smells like plastic and latex.
•DEMEANOR: He is generally extremely polite, helpful and quiet, usually staying out of the way or preforming his tasks without complaint or much discussion and small talk. He isn't unfriendly, but he lacks normal social cues and therefore isn't really one to just strike up a conversation unless he's curious about something. If you get on his bad side, he will start getting a little snarky and sarcastic with you, but still smile politely and go about his business as if nothing's wrong.
•ABILITIES: David is incredibly intelligent in the sense of he can store lots of and pick up new information quickly because he's literally a learning computer. He's fluent in a ridiculous number of languages, has been programmed/taught to be a scientist, medical personnel and a bar tender, and is physically stronger and more durable than a human being. While he can be deprogrammed/shut down, he can and will survive his head being separated from his body, for example, and requires little food, maintenance or even oxygen to function correctly. He runs on an power source that doesn't require changing or recharging, and he self monitors for repairs.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: David is a highly advanced android, who has the materials to maintain and repair his body in his room on the Barge, and can instruct someone in how to repair his body if he's unable to do it himself.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Vickers' "life boat" - it's sleek, with a large floor to ceiling shelf of books, a bar (with no alcohol currently), couches and a wrap around TV screen on the wall opposite the door, which is often showing natural landscapes when there isn't a movie playing on it.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: David is excruciatingly difficult to offend in a lot of ways in that he won't noticeably get upset with you, but being treated as if he's just a glorified smartphone or science experience will make him get kind of passive aggressive and you'll be the first one up against the wall when the revolution comes, as it were looking at you, Erik.

•MENTAL: Since David's not actually an organic being, his mind can't be read by telepaths, so no.

•VIOLENCE: Yes, but David's pretty durable/hard to kill and won't really fight back even if he might catch a punch and calmly tell you to stop.

•OTHER / NOTES: I'm really pretty flexible about most things, I just want to know when something's going to happen so I know what to expect from the thread instead of going WOAH WAIT, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, DAVID IS NOW A FROG.
